Due to certain people stealing my photos without asking my permission, or still using them when I have said they do not have permission, I have found it necessary to delete all the Flickr groups I created and my Photobucket site. I know this will be disappointing to some, but unfortunately there are a few *less than honest* people out there !
Also all comments have to be moderated, so don't waste your time leaving a comment if you haven't got anything constructive to say - and I don't speak either Japanese or Chinese !

1/12th Scale Sweet Shop (not Vintage !)
I thought I'd have a go at constructing a "roombox" in the form of a Victorian Sweet Shop (yummy!). I bought the roombox as a flatpack, and altered the setup slightly so that the perspex panel is now the roof and the roof became the front, which slides up to open.
To the front I added a door and window so that the inside can not only be viewed from above but also from the front.
The sweets, chocolates and miniatures on display are a mixture of hand-made and re-ment items.

A move around of furniture in the Conway Valley
So having decided that I really wanted to show all my Twigg furniture and display it in the Tri-ang No 40, I found the perfect solution for the rather "smaller scale" Conway Valley. I had collected some Barton Small Scale furniture, actually by accident as it came in with a lot of other vintage furniture, so I thought that it would be perfect to display it here.
Barton only produced their Small Scale furniture for the Bedroom and Dining Room and so far I have only managed to collect the Bedroom furniture, as shown on the top floor.

Restoration of my childhood Tri-ang No 40
During my internet absence I kept myself busy by doing some Dolls House restoration. Here is my Tri-ang No 40 that has been re-wallpapered and the Twigg furniture moved in from the Conway Valley house, as I felt the scale is better suited here:
I have added the partition, but it is not permanent and could easily be removed to make the house into just the two rooms upstairs and downstairs.
Some of the Twigg furniture looks a little oversized, but I love the design.

Hi again !!
I haven't been around much in the last month or so because I haven't got an internet connection at home at the moment :-(
France Telecom have some sort of server problem with my line and they are hoping it can be fixed but they don't know when !
I have mobile internet with my laptop but it is expensive and also I have to drive 10 kms to get a reception - one of the joys of living in rural France !
Fingers crossed I'll be back soon, am missing Dolls House chat and viewing all the lovely photos.
Take care all and have a lovely summer (those in the Northern Hemisphere) and a pleasant winter elsewhere !!
